the last post

Hello everybody today I want to talk about the Music. The music is a way to express your feelings and fell relaxed; there are a lot of styles and many instruments to make music. The music is considered art, and it depends of the culture, location, age, education, and many others topics that make it different. Some people say that the music is the language of the soul, and is a way to communicate the incommunicable. Humans always are communicating and they have the need to communicate their feelings, and in the end it becomes part of the life. I choose this topic because I wanted to think in something different from the university stuff, I needed something to relaxed, and the music can achieve this in me. When I have twelve years hold, my father gave me my first acoustic guitar, a few years later, for my birthday my father gave me an electric guitar and I was so grateful and happy, I used to play the guitar so much, but when I grew up the first thing in my life wasn´t the guitar so I forgot many songs.
I think that the music could be part of the life in the human, and can be used for any purpose, like represent the values of some University, encourage someone team of soccer or simply to have fun and relax, anyway if you want express something you can do it with a song or simply with an melody.
Well this is my last post, I want give thanks for all work done in this course, and I think I can speak more English like before.

The experence of learn English

Introduction:

This essay is about my experience learning English in the faculty, this course was implemented in 2009 with the curricular innovation. Obstetrics and Physical therapy were the pioneers and then all careers have to implement the curricular innovation, the course of English try to use a not classic way for teach English, try to stimulate more the dialogue and try to be more practical. The methods use by the teacher for evaluation the progress was listening, oral interaction, exposed about topics, and doing handout.

I think learning English was a very good experience and very hard, because I had to learn more that my classmates that didn’t have English class and I was occupying more time.
I don’t know if this course changes the horary, but need more time for develop the homework’s and more time for keeping practice with a protected horary, I think the most important think of study English is practice, I can learn a lot of words and have a great vocabulary and pronunciation but if I not have time to practice I forget the vocabulary and lose the pronunciation. I think that have English in the curriculum is necessary and was great had this course, but I think that all curriculum innovation is just a lot of good intentions and not a good idea in the practice, my fundament is very clear, my fundament is based in the horary and the protected time for study, when somebody just lock the horary know this is wrong, the polls was doing whit wrong questions that not evaluate the real horary. I really want that my curriculum improve, and the unique solution for that is the participation of the student, I hope the directors of both carers doing this.

Conclusion
The key for grow in this idiom is be constant, and for achieve this we need more time for practice, practice and practice, whit more listening, more oral interactions, read more, etc. But if I have to say if this course was necessary of course is necessary, is a really key for the develop of the profession and with the English we can give a more better service, I am very great full for the opportunity of improve my English and I give thanks to my teacher

About exoisition of Dr. Maldonado

Hello everybody today I want tell you about the exposition of Dr. Maldonado. Was very interesting for me, because the neuroscience it´s a camp very confusing, and a lot of issues aren´t founded yet. I thought that the size of the human brain was proportional whit the intelligence of the people, was complicate for me explain how some people have a big head and was very naive, so now understand very well, it´s more important the number of neuronal connections that the size of the human brain, Albert Einstein is considered a genius and his size of head was small, that explain a lot of things, also learned that us brain can´t use all areas simultaneously, some illness like epilepsy doing this and the consequences are very unfortunate, are a disorganization of the functions and the people can´t doing coordinate moves or have a paralysis of members .
This knowledge it´s important for all student of health because the area of neuroscience covers all camp of medicine, especially in Physical therapy and Obstetrics, we have to face whit patient and maybe they have any alteration of nervous system, the midwife maybe have to explain the development of nervous system of new born at mother, or maybe explain how she can stimulate the brain of her baby, also when the women begin the old age a midwife can explain about illness of nervous system in this age at women. A Midwife have to know the change of nervous system during pregnancy, and new sensations and emotions that occur during the process.

Southamerican Congress of Obstetrics.

Hello everybody today I want tell you about my experience in a 3er southamerican congress of Obstetrics, organized for University of Frontera and the college of Midwife.
Well, the first thing I want to say is that all should go to these activities, the president of college of midwife in the last exposition said: “if we aren´t together, we never can obtain achievement”.
When started the congress all Universities and important visit was presented, and I was impressed whit University of Concepción because led about more of one hundred students, and the University of Valdivia led a lot of students too, also I impress for the effort of the University of Antofagasta for be present in the congress.
I like very much the topics of the expositions, because was very related with the actually of us profession, like VIH, ITS, HPV, etc. many issues very interesting for us, and one of the most impressive for me, was the experience of the man midwife that participated in the program America solidaria and go to Haiti after the earthquake and how the limit of the human are proof, was very interesting. Also I impressed like student of the first years in the career can made a investigation of the sexual and reproductive health of the students in the first year of University, in the University Austral, because they made a very good work and was winners in the best investigation of sexual and reproductive work in the congress. One thing was caught my attention was that University of Chile because not present any work investigation, between the students of University of Chile, three are in your last year of career, and they was not presented your investigation because they thought that the investigations most be complete and revised for a teacher, but it was not. When I talk whit my partners of the investigations works was presented in a congress, all thought that at University of Chile the level is very good, and when I dismiss of the president of the college of Midwife, she ask me why University of Chile not presented investigations works, and I said all true, that us thought that the investigations works most be complete and revised for a teacher of the University, and the students of 5to are very careful whit your works because at University of Chile is very strict, and she say, well my friend you are right, at University of Chile is very strict, but the next years the congress is at University of Chile so you can show that level.
Well this wonderful experience was unique, and I think that all people stay there think alike

Pregnancy clinics 'should be set up in schools'

Hello everybody today I speak about an article of if pregnancy clinics 'should be set up in schools'.
National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence wants midwives to advise young mothers in school.
There are many opinions about this issue, exist controversial postures because some people say that is the way how the teenage pregnancy increase and others say that is the way how we can help and provide a heath service. The evidence shows that pregnant women under 20 often feel excluded from mainstream antenatal care and judged by their peers, so we need help to these women’s. But the critics said the idea could "normalize" teenage pregnancy and increase the problem.
Other factor that promote help this women`s is that young women aged under 20 may be reluctant to recognize their pregnancy or inhibited by embarrassment and fear of parental reaction, so this promote that the women`s can revives few information and may can do prejudicial acts.
Norman Wells, director of the family Education Trust, think that in the school is not the perfect place for give this care antenatal and the school is a place for imparting knowledge and teaching children to think in a rational and logical way, this is the objective of the school, and is not correct shoulder the burden of problems created by a permissive society in the school, because is not the objective.
Actually some 40,000 births per year happen in women under the age of 20 although there are no exact figures on how many of these access antenatal care and The risk of stillbirth and a baby dying in the first six weeks of life is also around twice as high for women from deprived backgrounds.
So the controversial point is latent in the society and there are varieties of opinions. In my opinion the idea of give care antenatal in the school can may normalize this situation, but we need found the way how doing this out of the school because is very necessary for the young women`s.

exposure of Dr. Valenzuela

The presentation of Doctor Valenzuela was very interesting in especial for me, because my area is the study of human reproduction, so I congratulate to the organizers.
I learned how is more important the moment when is administrate the drug that if is administrate after or before of the coitus, and exist collateral effects like if you administrate two doses you have 53% of ectopic pregnancy. Dr. Valenzuela exposed how is possible the postovulatory effects whit the study of the percentages of pregnancy in the fertility windows.
Also was very interesting know the posture of the Catholic Church about when start the life, and also know the point of view of the science when start the life, this is a controversial and important point in the society because there are many posture and beliefs.
This activity will be great if it can be done in the faculty with time protected for have arguments and form us an opinion of this topic, so we can help people.

I hope that these activities can be repeated, and I am grateful for issues was discussed because issues like the health system of the other countries or the preovulatory v/s preovulatory and postovulatory effect of LNG EC was very interesting for me, and us obligation like future professional of health is learn about this issues, I propose this activities doing again but whit more protected time for traduce the paper after the presentation of the expert.

A very good film

I would like to start congratulating Guillermo and the teacher for this activity, because I studied this topic in my course of Gestión y liderazgo and I can learn this issues in English and Spanish and I can have more vocabulary related whit my profession , so I think this activity was very appropriate for my professional formation.
I didn’t believe when I saw in the film that the health can be fair and have quality, the French and English systems are examples for our country, they are fair, they have a fast diagnostic, they have quality, opportunity, financial protection and it not depends of the social class of the patient. The people can be calm about the security in the hospitals, a mother can be calm if her baby is hospitalized, and the time of wait doesn’t exceed ten minutes.
This system have a lot of positive points, but maybe it could have negative aspects too, so I ask this question ¿what is better, English or North American system?, maybe the American system is not too bad and some things are been doing in a bad way.
Many people say that actual Chilean system is not better than the first system in the beginnings of public health, but that system broke, so ¿what is better?.
I think if the principal purpose is help the people and not the money and power, any system can be effective , but I think that the government have the obligation of give goods and gratuities service occupying the taxes of the people.
